Paul Barford Appointed Ohio Head Coach 

COLUMBUS, OH - February 16, 2016 – Paul Barford has been named head coach of the Ohio team for the upcoming 2016 PRO Rugby season.  The Ohio team will play its home games at Memorial Park in Obetz.

“PRO Rugby is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Barford as Head Coach for the Ohio team in PRO Rugby’s 2016 inaugural season,” said Director of Rugby Steve Lewis.

Barford is a native of England where he played for the storied Leicester Tigers. "Not only is he a certified World Rugby educator, Paul holds the highest Coaching Certifications Levels for both USA Rugby (Level 400) and World Rugby (Level 3)". For the past 35 years, Barford has dedicated himself to USA Rugby and has been a key figure in the development of many Eagles from his work with U17, U18, U19, and U20 programs. He has also coached with the USA Men’s A side, the South, and Life University.”

Training camp for the Ohio team will open March 14 and its first game will be held on April 10.
